Martial arts classes in the UAE follow a structured format: a formal bow-in, warm-up and conditioning, technique drills, and practice with partners. Classes typically run 45–60 minutes for children and 60–90 minutes for adults. Children are never paired with adults. The belt or grading system provides clear milestones — most academies hold gradings every 3–4 months. Uniforms (gi or dobok) are usually required and can be purchased through the academy.
