About this activity

Weekly conversation groups for adults at Alliance Française de Dubaï, the officially accredited French cultural institute and certified DELF/DALF exam centre in Jumeirah. Native-speaking animateurs guide discussions on current events, culture, and everyday topics, aimed at adults from A2 level upward who already have some French but want to keep it conversational rather than textbook-bound. Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions suit working professionals.

What to expect from language classes

This session runs 90 minutes. Classes use a communicative immersion approach — children learn by doing real things (games, stories, songs, role-play) in the target language rather than studying grammar rules in isolation. Arabic, French, Mandarin, and Spanish are the most widely available. For meaningful language acquisition, attending at least twice per week is recommended, as frequency matters more than session length.
