The core La Masia curriculum — Barcelona's legendary youth development philosophy, responsible for producing generations of the club's first-team players — adapted here for positional awareness, technical ball work, and team play. Players train three times weekly and participate in genuine Barça Academy tournaments, giving real competitive exposure beyond the regular training sessions. Ages 7 to 12; a free trial is available.
This session runs 75 minutes, for ages 7–12. Expect a warm-up phase, skill-based drills, and a game or activity at the end. Indoor facilities with air conditioning are standard across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, ensuring year-round training regardless of summer temperatures. Most academies follow internationally recognised coaching frameworks and provide all equipment — you just need to bring water, comfortable clothing, and appropriate footwear. Barça Academy Dubai offers a free trial session before you commit.
Parent tip
Ask about the coach-to-student ratio before enrolling. For children under 8, groups larger than 8–10 per coach typically mean less individual feedback. A good academy will be transparent about this.
