Barça Academy Dubai has run since 2008 as FC Barcelona's official football school in the city, and this youngest group introduces football using genuine FC Barcelona methods — dribbling, coordination, and social skills through games, with no prior experience needed. Even at this playful entry level, the coaching lineage traces directly back to Barcelona's own youth development philosophy. Ages 4 to 6; sessions run Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at GEMS Wellington International School, with a free trial available.
This session runs 60 minutes, for ages 4–6. Expect a warm-up phase, skill-based drills, and a game or activity at the end. Indoor facilities with air conditioning are standard across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, ensuring year-round training regardless of summer temperatures. Most academies follow internationally recognised coaching frameworks and provide all equipment — you just need to bring water, comfortable clothing, and appropriate footwear. Barça Academy Dubai offers a free trial session before you commit.
Parent tip
Ask about the coach-to-student ratio before enrolling. For children under 8, groups larger than 8–10 per coach typically mean less individual feedback. A good academy will be transparent about this.
