As the UAE's exclusive Rockschool exam representative, Brooklyn Melodies is the only place in the country where students can sit the full Rockschool guitar syllabus through to Grade 8 — a genuinely significant distinction for anyone pursuing formal certification rather than informal lessons. Covers electric, acoustic, and classical guitar across rock, pop, blues, and classical styles from a student's very first chord onward. Ages 6 and up; sessions run across 8 Dubai branches, with a free trial available.
This session runs 45 minutes, for ages 6+. Private lessons focus on individual technique and are ideal for beginners building foundational skills. Group lessons develop ensemble awareness and cost roughly half the price. Many academies follow ABRSM or Trinity curricula, providing internationally recognised grade examinations that mark structured progress from Grade 1 to Grade 8. Brooklyn Melodies Music Centre offers a free trial session before you commit.
Parent tip
Consistency matters more than intensity in music learning. A child who practises 15 minutes daily progresses faster than one who crams an hour the night before a lesson. Ask the teacher for a realistic home practice recommendation for your child's level.
