Rather than individual instrument lessons, this class actually forms working bands — children aged 8 to 16 are grouped by ability and genre preference, then rehearse and perform real rock songs together across the term, building toward a genuine showcase performance. It develops ensemble listening and stage performance skills that individual lessons simply can't replicate, and tends to be a favourite among students who already play an instrument and want to use it in a group setting. This session runs 60 minutes, for ages 8–16. Private lessons focus on individual technique and are ideal for beginners building foundational skills. Group lessons develop ensemble awareness and cost roughly half the price. Many academies follow ABRSM or Trinity curricula, providing internationally recognised grade examinations that mark structured progress from Grade 1 to Grade 8.
