Desert Cubs' top tier for serious young players combines video analysis, strength and conditioning work, and match-play sessions with an actual scouting pathway toward UAE national age-group squads, including international tour opportunities for those who progress far enough. Coaches hold certification across ICC, ACC, ECB, and Cricket Australia — a genuinely broad coaching credential base for a single academy. Because this level assumes serious existing commitment, there's no free trial; ages 15 to 19.
This session runs 120 minutes, for ages 15–19. Expect a warm-up phase, skill-based drills, and a game or activity at the end. Indoor facilities with air conditioning are standard across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, ensuring year-round training regardless of summer temperatures. Most academies follow internationally recognised coaching frameworks and provide all equipment — you just need to bring water, comfortable clothing, and appropriate footwear. Contact Desert Cubs Cricket Academy directly to ask about trial availability.
Parent tip
Ask about the coach-to-student ratio before enrolling. For children under 8, groups larger than 8–10 per coach typically mean less individual feedback. A good academy will be transparent about this.
