A dedicated cricket programme for girls spanning all skill levels, covering batting, bowling, and fielding in a girls-only training environment, affiliated with the UAE Cricket Federation. Rather than treating girls' cricket as an add-on to the main academy, Desert Cubs runs it as its own structured pathway across the same six-centre network. Ages 6 to 18; weekend morning sessions, with a free trial available.
This session runs 75 minutes, for ages 6–18. Expect a warm-up phase, skill-based drills, and a game or activity at the end. Indoor facilities with air conditioning are standard across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, ensuring year-round training regardless of summer temperatures. Most academies follow internationally recognised coaching frameworks and provide all equipment — you just need to bring water, comfortable clothing, and appropriate footwear. Desert Cubs Cricket Academy offers a free trial session before you commit.
Parent tip
Ask about the coach-to-student ratio before enrolling. For children under 8, groups larger than 8–10 per coach typically mean less individual feedback. A good academy will be transparent about this.
