For horse-mad children who want to understand the full world of equestrianism beyond just riding, this class covers grooming, tacking up, feeding, and general stable duties — genuinely hands-on rather than a theoretical lecture about horse care. It's a popular complement to the academy's riding lessons, giving children a fuller relationship with the horses they ride rather than treating the animal purely as equipment. Age 6 and up; weekend morning sessions, with a free trial available.
This session runs 90 minutes, for ages 6+. Expect a warm-up phase, skill-based drills, and a game or activity at the end. Indoor facilities with air conditioning are standard across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, ensuring year-round training regardless of summer temperatures. Most academies follow internationally recognised coaching frameworks and provide all equipment — you just need to bring water, comfortable clothing, and appropriate footwear. European Equestrian Academy Dubai offers a free trial session before you commit.
Parent tip
Ask about the coach-to-student ratio before enrolling. For children under 8, groups larger than 8–10 per coach typically mean less individual feedback. A good academy will be transparent about this.
