For children who've already mastered basic balance and movement on ice, this class moves into spins, jumps, footwork, and free skating — developing genuine skating artistry and grace rather than just technical competence. Regular shows and informal in-academy competitions give students a performance outlet without the pressure of external competitive skating. Ages 5 to 16; sessions run Monday, Thursday evenings, and Saturday mid-morning, with a free trial available.
This session runs 60 minutes, for ages 5–16. Expect a warm-up phase, skill-based drills, and a game or activity at the end. Indoor facilities with air conditioning are standard across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, ensuring year-round training regardless of summer temperatures. Most academies follow internationally recognised coaching frameworks and provide all equipment — you just need to bring water, comfortable clothing, and appropriate footwear. Ice Skating Evolution offers a free trial session before you commit.
Parent tip
Ask about the coach-to-student ratio before enrolling. For children under 8, groups larger than 8–10 per coach typically mean less individual feedback. A good academy will be transparent about this.
