Guitar tuition covering acoustic and electric instruments from complete beginners through advanced players, spanning rock, pop, classical, and fingerstyle technique depending on what a student actually wants to play rather than a single fixed curriculum. Grade exams are available for those who want them, but they're not mandatory — Melodica's format works equally well for a teenager who just wants to learn their favourite songs. One-to-one or small group lessons run Monday, Wednesday evenings, and Saturday mornings; a free trial is available.
This session runs 45 minutes, for ages 6+. Private lessons focus on individual technique and are ideal for beginners building foundational skills. Group lessons develop ensemble awareness and cost roughly half the price. Many academies follow ABRSM or Trinity curricula, providing internationally recognised grade examinations that mark structured progress from Grade 1 to Grade 8. Melodica Music Academy offers a free trial session before you commit.
Parent tip
Consistency matters more than intensity in music learning. A child who practises 15 minutes daily progresses faster than one who crams an hour the night before a lesson. Ask the teacher for a realistic home practice recommendation for your child's level.
