Creative drama play for children aged 4–6 at The Courtyard Playhouse, Dubai's only KHDA-licensed improvisation theatre and training centre, founded in 2013 in Al Quoz's arts district. Sessions blend character games, storytelling, and group movement, ending each term with a mini showcase so parents can see exactly what their child has learned. Classes run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as part of the Young Theatre Academy programme for ages 4–18.
This session runs 60 minutes, for ages 4–6. Classes cover a range of media: drawing, painting, clay, mixed media, and increasingly digital art. Toddler classes (ages 2–5) focus on sensory exploration — the process matters more than the finished product. Older children work with structured techniques while developing their personal creative style. Many studios hold regular exhibitions of student work, which builds pride and motivation.
