Acoustic, electric, and classical guitar tuition for kids and adults aged 6 and up at Thomsun Music Institute in Wafi Mall, part of the Thomsun Group with a second school at Ibn Battuta Mall. Students learn chords, technique, and their favourite songs, with optional graded exam preparation for those who want a formal qualification. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday sessions run 45 minutes, with a free trial lesson available before committing to weekly classes.
This session runs 45 minutes, for ages 6+. Private lessons focus on individual technique and are ideal for beginners building foundational skills. Group lessons develop ensemble awareness and cost roughly half the price. Many academies follow ABRSM or Trinity curricula, providing internationally recognised grade examinations that mark structured progress from Grade 1 to Grade 8. Thomsun Music Institute offers a free trial session before you commit.
Parent tip
Consistency matters more than intensity in music learning. A child who practises 15 minutes daily progresses faster than one who crams an hour the night before a lesson. Ask the teacher for a realistic home practice recommendation for your child's level.
