Progressive Taekwondo training for ages 7–12 at UAE Taekwondo Federation Academy, the officially affiliated programme of the UAE Taekwondo Federation. Covers poomsae patterns, sparring fundamentals, and self-defence, with belt grading every three months and a direct link to the UAE national junior competition calendar for students who want to compete. Three sessions a week across Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday build consistent progress toward the next belt.
This session runs 60 minutes, for ages 7–12. Classes follow a structured format: a formal bow-in, warm-up and conditioning, technique drills, and practice with partners. Children are never paired with adults. The belt or grading system provides clear milestones — most academies hold gradings every 3–4 months. Uniforms (gi or dobok) are usually required and can be purchased through the academy. UAE Taekwondo Federation Academy offers a free trial session before you commit.
Parent tip
Quality martial arts instruction emphasises restraint and respect, not aggression. If a class feels intimidating or overly competitive for beginners, it's the wrong academy. The best instructors create an environment where children genuinely want to return.

The sensei is brilliant with kids — strict but fair. My son has so much discipline now.
