Structured Taekwondo for toddlers and pre-schoolers aged 3–6 at UAE Taekwondo Federation Academy, the officially affiliated training programme of the UAE Taekwondo Federation across two Dubai locations. Kicks, blocks, and basic patterns are taught through games and stories rather than drilled repetition, building coordination, listening skills, and confidence from the very first class. Saturday and Sunday morning sessions offer a free trial before signing up.
This session runs 45 minutes, for ages 3–6. Classes follow a structured format: a formal bow-in, warm-up and conditioning, technique drills, and practice with partners. Children are never paired with adults. The belt or grading system provides clear milestones — most academies hold gradings every 3–4 months. Uniforms (gi or dobok) are usually required and can be purchased through the academy. UAE Taekwondo Federation Academy offers a free trial session before you commit.
Parent tip
Quality martial arts instruction emphasises restraint and respect, not aggression. If a class feels intimidating or overly competitive for beginners, it's the wrong academy. The best instructors create an environment where children genuinely want to return.
