Unique World Robotics' intensive holiday programme at its JVC facility, condensing robot building, AI fundamentals, and programming into a multi-day camp format for school breaks. Kids build and programme moving robots hands-on rather than watching demonstrations, with each day adding a new concept — sensors, motors, basic AI logic — on top of the last, so the camp progresses rather than repeating the same lesson daily. A genuinely different holiday option from the usual sports-camp rotation for kids who gravitate toward building and problem-solving. Runs during spring, summer, and winter school breaks.
This session runs 240 minutes, for ages 8–14. Sessions follow a project-based learning approach where children build towards a tangible outcome — a working game, a robot, a completed project. These programmes develop logical thinking, problem-solving, and persistence with complex challenges. Most providers group children by age and prior experience rather than a fixed level system. Parent tip
The best coding and STEM programmes make children feel like creators, not consumers of technology. If your child already spends a lot of time on screens, a robotics programme that involves physical construction alongside programming may be more engaging than pure screen-based coding.
